airplanes & feathers
journal-entryAirports are fascinating places – no matter their size. I love smaller airports and, as a matter of fact, smaller airplanes. I love how you can feel every wind current, every eddy, every bit of turbulence.
Old mate disagrees on that latter point, but our wirings are a bit different. He is more risk averse than I. I don't think my brain has a properly programmed risk detector. I actually think it might be missing entirely.
On that thought, I should probably stop collecting feathers, given the biosecurity risk they pose. It's a bit of a miracle that they let me take this book into Tasmania with all the flowers and feathers pasted into it.
I think there is some chance (perhaps 5%) every time I fly that they will confiscate this book. That would devastate me.
No more feathers though. I could single-handedly start the next global pandemic via transporting a feather contaminated with some avian disease. Oops.
