I am listening to Calyer by Beach Fossils this Friday evening and my heart has started to pine for someone to share the moment with; a new romance or close friend. But in this solitary moment, I realised my most profound companion is me.

I am my own delightful discovery. I feel as though I am both the observer and the observed; the lover and the loved. The warmth of my own presence fills the space within my heart.

I have made a truce with myself recently, and I now have a unique opportunity for limitless self-discovery.
